1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Spreadhit, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Kenya to use Spreadhit. By using our services, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at info@spreadhit.com of any unauthorized use.

4. Prediction Markets

Prediction markets involve financial risk. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Only trade with funds you can afford to lose. Spreadhit is not responsible for any losses incurred through trading activity.

5. Market Resolution

Markets are resolved based on publicly available information and pre-defined resolution criteria stated on each market. Spreadhit's resolution decisions are final and binding. In cases where a market cannot be fairly resolved (for example, where the price movement in a 5-minute crypto market is negligible), the market may be voided and all funds refunded.

6. Prohibited Activities

Users may not manipulate markets, create fake accounts, engage in money laundering, collude with other users to fix outcomes, or use the platform for any illegal purposes. Violation may result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of funds.

7. Fees and Payments

The following fees apply when using Spreadhit:

• Platform Fee: 10% charged on profitable exits and winning settlements only. No fee is charged if your trade does not generate a profit.
• Trading Spread: A 4% spread is applied to each trade. This spread is split equally between liquidity providers (LPs) and the platform, and is built into the prices shown to you — it is not a separate charge on top of your stake.
• M-Pesa Processing Fee: 1.5% applied to both deposits and withdrawals, covering mobile money transaction costs.
• Minimum Deposit: KES 100
• Minimum Withdrawal: KES 105
• Maximum Transaction: KES 250,000 per deposit or withdrawal

All applicable fees are displayed before you confirm any transaction. Spreadhit reserves the right to adjust fee rates with prior notice to users.

8. Liquidity Provider (LP) Program

Users may deposit KES into market liquidity pools to earn a share of trading spread income. The following terms apply:

• Minimum LP Deposit: KES 100 per market.
• Rewards: LP providers collectively earn 50% of the 4% trading spread (proportional to their share of the pool). Rewards are distributed daily and are not guaranteed — they depend on actual trading volume in that market.
• Principal Risk: LP deposits are not guaranteed. At market resolution, winning traders' payouts may partially reduce your deposited principal. Only deposit what you can afford to lose.
• Withdrawals: You may withdraw your remaining principal at any time. No lock-up period applies.

9. Referral Program

Spreadhit operates a referral program that rewards users for inviting others to the platform. The following terms apply:

• Referral Reward: You earn 10% of the 10% platform fee on profitable exits made by users you refer, for their first 180 days on the platform. This is equivalent to 1% of the trade value on profitable exits made by your referrals.
• Eligibility: Your referred user must sign up using your referral code or link. Rewards are only paid on trades that generate a profit for the referred user.
• Earning Window: The 180-day earning window begins on the date your referred user registers.
• Spreadhit reserves the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time with prior notice.

10. Account Termination

Spreadhit reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms of Service, engages in fraudulent activity, or poses a risk to platform integrity. Locked accounts may contact support at info@spreadhit.com to request a review.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification where possible.
